This hasn’t exactly been a banner week for wireless uptime; Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon have all seen some trouble over the course of the past few days, and now we’re getting tipped that AT&T data services are down once again in the Southeast. Last time, the problems seemed limited to Florida, but now we’re hearing that customers spanning from Atlanta to Louisiana are having trouble — and even Puerto Rico has apparently been pulled into the mess. What’s everyone seeing out there?

Update: Everything should’ve been back online as of roughly midnight ET last night. Here’s the statement we’ve received from AT&T:
“Due to an earlier equipment issue caused by a fiber cut, some customers in the Southeast region experienced issues with their 3G data service. AT&T technicians quickly worked to resolve the issue, and all service should be up and running. We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers.”

We certainly don’t want to point the finger at a wildly-successful EVO 4G launch just yet, but it seems that Sprint’s voice service is down in New York City (data is still working, for what it’s worth). This is happening consistently for three of us here in the city with EVOs on hand, so it certainly seems like a real problem. We’re reaching out to Sprint for comment and we’ll let you know what we hear.

Update: And we just got this from Sprint –
“One of our VoIP switches in New York did experience an equipment failure earlier today causing some traffic to be rerouted to another switching location during the repair process and resulting in call congestion for some Sprint customers. Our network operators are working aggressively to resolve this issue and hope to have service back to normal soon.”
Let’s hope those glorious EVOs resume normal operation shortly.
Update 2: Looks like we’re back online, at least intermittently.
Update 3: Sprint tells us that service was 100 percent back to normal as of 4:15PM ET. Carry on, folks!

So word has it that O2’s network’s been a bit dodgy in some parts of the UK this evening. Did Gordon Brown’s resignation cause such an outage? Did all the texts about David Cameron’s shiny forehead lead to this network overload? We don’t know, but our own phone’s been running just fine all evening in Central London. Anyhow, let us know if you were affected — just don’t say it’s Nick Clegg’s fault.

Update: O2’s released a statement about the regional outage:
“We currently have a fault on our network which is affecting voice and data service across parts of the Midlands, South West and Northern Ireland. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Our engineers are on site to fix the fault as soon as possible.”
This certainly matches what we’re seeing on Elliott Kember’s crowdsourced map, too. [Thanks, danWebb and Scump]

Engadget and now T-Mobile USA’s official Twitter page have both reported nationwide outages across the entire United States. The official statement from T-Mobile posted on Engadget’s page reads as follows:
"T-Mobile customers may be experiencing service disruptions impacting voice and data. Our rapid response teams have been mobilized to restore service as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as more information is available."
About an hour ago, this tweet was posted on @TMobile_USA, T-Mobile USA’s official Twitter:
“All – We’re aware of the current service disruption. Our rapid response teams have been mobilized to restore service as quickly as possible.”
Most definitely a serious matter especially on the light of the recent Sidekick outages. Disk Inserted asks, are you having issues with your T-Mobile service?
